Theatre - Jesuit Masque
The Jesuit Masque is the school's theater program, led by Theater Director Richard Miller. Masque joined the International Thespian Society in 2014, as Troupe 8059, and has consistently qualified for and given distinguished performances at the State Festival. Masque performers earn high ratings annually in all State entries in duet acting, monologues, solo musical, ensemble acting, and playwriting. The Masque claimed its first Superior rating at the State Festival in 2018 and has earned many Superiors since.
The Masque's Spring Performance in 2023, "Sherwood: the Adventures of Robin Hood," was the first in Jesuit's spectacular new Antinori Center for the Arts. The 2023-24 school year saw the Masque perform the hilarious "The Play That Goes Wrong" and "Into The Woods" before huge audiences in Shembekar Auditorium inside the Antinori Center, as well as the student written and directed Senior One-Act Play, "How Not To Write A Play" in the Antinori Center's Black Box Theatre.
