RCIA Mass

Jesuit's Office of Mission and Formation leads the school's RCIA program – the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Each year since 2010, Jesuit has celebrated an annual RCIA Mass near the end of the school year, receiving special permission to celebrate these sacraments from the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Since the initiation of the program in 2010 through the May 2024 RCIA Mass, a total of 122 students have been baptized or received into the Church at Jesuit, including 75 in the four years from 2021-24, of which 35 will be students at Jesuit during the 2024-25 school year.  

The 2024 RCIA Mass was celebrated on May 9 in the Chapel of the Holy Cross, during which 18 students participated, with 12 baptized and 6 received into the Catholic Church.
