Men For Others

The Jesuit basketball program features Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams and a decades-long tradition of hardwood success, including three state championships: 1950 (the first Catholic school to win a state title), 1984, and 2013. The 2012-13 team is considered perhaps the greatest in Tampa Bay-area history, having won 30 games by 10 or more points and going unbeaten against Florida competition en route to finishing 31-1 as State Champions. Head coach Neal Goldman enters his 34th season in 2020-21 with a career record of 625-293 and 15 District titles. Last season, 2019-20, the Tigers went 23-7 while capturing the District title for the 9th straight season and advancing to the Region Semifinal. Jesuit basketball also continues to excel in the classroom, earning 1st place honors in the FHSAA's Academic Team Champion standings in 2018 and 2nd place in 2019 and 2020!
