Men For Others

The Jesuit basketball program features Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams and a decades-long tradition of success on the hardwood, including three state championships: 1950 (the first Catholic school to win a state title), 1984, and 2013. The 2012-13 team finished 31-1 and is considered perhaps the greatest team in Tampa Bay-area history, having won 30 games by 10 or more points and going unbeaten against Florida competition. Head coach Neal Goldman enters his 31st season in 2017-18 with a career record of 557-273 and 12 District titles. Last season, 2016-17, the Tigers went 22-5 while capturing the District title for a 6th straight year behind the backcourt play of 1st-team all-county guard Stevie Darst '17 and Thierry Moliere '18 (pictured below).

At Jesuit, we are responding in a dynamic way to the changing needs of education in the 21st century.
It is an exciting era, with the constant infusion of new technology and the increasing emphasis on student engagement in the learning process.
In 2014 Jesuit claimed the FHSAA's highest honor among all Class 5A schools in academics (Academic Team Champion) and athletics (All-Sports Award).
Each and every gift makes a difference to the students of Jesuit High School as they strive to become "Men for Others."
