More than 300 Jesuit High School alumni in classes ending in '3' and '8' came home to Himes Ave. this weekend (June 1-3) for a wonderful Grand Reunion celebration.
The annual event started Friday with an elegant reception on campus that brought together all of the classes – every 5 years from 1958 through 2013 – for an enjoyable evening of revelry and nostalgia. The Friday reception, which was the largest ever for Jesuit's annual Grand Reunion, highlighted the special bond between Jesuit alumni and their alma mater, and made for a memorable evening for all.
On Saturday, the respective classes gathered away from campus at various locales in the Tampa Bay area. Sunday brought everyone back to Jesuit for Mass with alumni and their families, followed by brunch. During Mass, the Class of 1993 was presented with silver medallions and the Class of 1968 was awarded golden diplomas.
SAVE THE DATE: Grand Reunion 2019 will celebrate classes ending in '4' and '9' with the Class of 1994 (25 years) and Class of 1969 (50 years) receiving special recognition. It will take place May 31-June 2, 2019. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to register.
