Gaudiosa 2018: An Evening in Rome
Posted 01/12/2018 12:04PM

Jesuit High School's award-winning fundraising gala, Gaudiosa, is just days away, on Saturday, February 24 at the Hilton Tampa Downtown!

This year, Gaudiosa travels to Italy for An Evening in Rome. Jesuit's award-winning Special Events Coordinator, Jane Younger, and her staff of volunteers are dedicated to making this 15th annual Gaudiosa another spectacular, beautiful, fun-filled event – all benefiting Jesuit's financial aid! The past four years, Gaudiosa has raised more than $2.7 million for the school's financial aid program, helping to ensure no qualified boy who wishes to receive a Jesuit education is denied the opportunity for financial reasons.

In 2017, the Tampa Bay Business Journal named Younger the Tampa Bay area's "Best Event Planner" for the fourth time, and named Gaudiosa as the "Best Fundraising Event" for the fourth time!

Registration for Gaudiosa 2018 is sold out. For more information about sponsorships, auction items, etc. please visit the Gaudiosa page on the Jesuit website (

Gaudiosa is a Latin term for "a joyous feast." The locational theme for each Gaudiosa is based on the travels of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus - the Jesuits - in the 16th century.

At Jesuit, we are responding in a dynamic way to the changing needs of education in the 21st century.
It is an exciting era, with the constant infusion of new technology and the increasing emphasis on student engagement in the learning process.
In 2014 Jesuit claimed the FHSAA's highest honor among all Class 5A schools in academics (Academic Team Champion) and athletics (All-Sports Award).
Each and every gift makes a difference to the students of Jesuit High School as they strive to become "Men for Others."
