The Jesuit Masque will open its fall production of the classic comedy You Can’t Take it With You on November 13. The play, whose popularity has only increased since its debut in 1936, features the free-spirited Sycamore family, whose eldest daughter Alice (Lexi Nieto, Academy of the Holy Names) is in love with Tony (Christian Pena ’15), the scion of the wealthy and powerful Kirby family.
The production also features George Morgan ’18, Jacob Zelen ’16, Alex Pena ’18, John Cullaro ’18, Ace Cabalan ’17, Lucas Pasquier ’17, Dalton Hoffman ’17, Kyle Cansler ’16, Austin Hernandez ’16, Ryan Ricco ’15, and Zach Hoppe ’15.
The show continues the Masque’s long collaboration with performers from the Academy of the Holy Names. In addition to Nieto, AHN junior Gracie Hitchcock and freshmen Isabella Onken, Olivia Traud, and Julia Baretto are featured in the performance.
Performances are at 7:30pm on Nov. 13, 14, and 15 in the Multipurpose Room, with an additional 1:00pm matinee on Nov. 15. Tickets go on sale Nov. 3 for $5 apiece.
