Jesuit soccer added an extraordinary chapter to its storied history in 2020, capturing the program's seventh State title with a 5-4 win over Pembroke Pines Charter 5-4. The seven titles are the most of any Jesuit sport and tied for third in Florida boys soccer history. With another State Final appearance in 2021 and State Semifinal appearances in 2022 and 2023, the Tigers' total of 93 playoff victories - Region and State playoff wins - and 125 playoff games is the most of any soccer program in Florida annals.

Founded in the mid-1970s, Jesuit soccer was a force by the '80s. The seven State titles were earned in 1987, '95, '97, '98, '99, '01, and '20 (four times Jesuit has been State runner-up). The middle five championships came under head coach Bob Bauman, who was inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) Hall of Fame in 2020, and the 2001 team also was honored as National Champions. Eric Sims '95, who starred on the '95 champs, was named the Class 5A Coach of the Year in 2020 and enters his 11th season at the helm of Tiger soccer in 2023-24. He has led Jesuit to District titles and the Region Final or better in each of his first 10 seasons. Jesuit soccer frequently has been nationally ranked in the Top 10, and the Tigers have captured the District title 37 of the past 39 seasons entering 2023-24.

In 2022-23, led by goalkeeper Phillip Falcon (University of Pennsylvania signee, 15 shutouts, 0.43 gaa), Jesuit won the Tampa Bay Champions League title for the 3rd time in 5 seasons with a 3-1 win over Sunlake. The Tigers once again earned the Region title (2-0 v. Horizon) and advanced to the State Semifinal for the 5th straight season before falling to Naples and finishing 20-3-1. Among the key returnees in 2023-24 are MF/F Dutch Iavarone '25 (22g, 13a in 2022-23), MF Keegan Clamp '25 (6 a), Kaden Plummer '24, MF Alejandro Vargas '24(10g, 2a), F Phillip Wiley '25 (12g, 4a), D Brady Nessler '24, and F Dante Searls '24 (9g, 5a)
