Bowling
Jesuit bowling has been one of the Tampa Bay area’s premier prep programs on and off the lanes since becoming a Varsity sport in 2008. In the classroom, the Tigers have earned the FHSAA’s Academic Team Champion honor for best team GPA numerous times from among the 100+ high school bowling teams in the state of Florida. In 2020, Jesuit captured Academic Team Champion honors statewide with a cumulative team GPA of 3.972, the highest GPA for any team in any sport in Florida that year. On the lanes, the Tigers finished 8-8 in the fall 2025 season (the 2025 team is pictured below), and their record since 2018 is a stellar 81-31. The top performers in 2025 were Mateo Sierra '28, (184 avg.) and Christian Diaz '26 (179). Sierra, who had a high game of 256, is the top returnee in 2026, and top newcomers include Brian Branagan '27 and Ricardo Prieto '27.
