College Signing Ceremonies
Each year, 25-30 Jesuit student-athletes sign a Letter of Intent to participate in college athletics during one of four signing day ceremonies on campus. The ceremonies typically take place in the Tiger Palace, with family, friends, teammates, coaches, and media in attendance. The NCAA has four designated signing periods each year, typically in early November, mid-December (football only), early February, and April-May. On the first day of each signing period, a.k.a. Signing Day, Jesuit holds a special ceremony. Among the hundreds of Tigers who have participated in a signing ceremony at the school are current NFL players Malik Davis '17 (University of Florida, Dallas Cowboys) and Dane Belton '19 (University of Iowa, New York Giants), and nationally ranked wrestler Tom Crook '22 (Virginia Tech).
