ATHLETICS
Jesuit High School's tradition of excellence in athletics is second to none in the Tampa Bay area and among the very best in Florida and the nation.
For the 3rd straight year in 2023-24, and 4th time in 5 years, Jesuit athletics ranked No. 1 statewide in all classifications in the Florida High School Athletic Association's All-Sports Award rankings, an extraordinary achievement that demonstrates excellence across the spectrum of Jesuit's 12 Varsity sports. Following State Championships by the wrestling and baseball programs in 2023-24, Jesuit now has earned 30 team State titles in eight sports.
The Tigers also excel annually in the FHSAA’s Academic Team Champion Award (ATC) results. Since 2013-14, Jesuit has finished 1st or 2nd annually in its classification in the ATC standings among boys sports programs. Every year during that time, at least one Jesuit team has ranked No. 1 in its respective sport in the ATC standings, and several years multiple teams have ranked 1st, including the basketball, football, soccer, wrestling, swimming, and bowling teams.
The 2021-22 school year for Jesuit athletics was among the best in Florida prep history. The Tigers captured a school-record three State titles (football, wrestling, baseball) and nine Region Championships. The outstanding across-the-board performances propelled Jesuit to the No. 4 national ranking among all boys high school sports programs in the MaxPreps Cup rankings, Jesuit's best-ever national ranking.
