Graduation Course Requirements

Jesuit High School’s rigorous college preparatory curriculum is designed to prepare our students for admission to higher education and continuing intellectual, moral, and spiritual development. During the course of their four years of high school, Jesuit students are required to earn 27 credits. The distribution of courses required to earn a Jesuit diploma is listed below, with the year-by-year breakdown listed below that.

Academic Requirements for Graduation

English - 4 credits
Mathematics - 4 credits
Theology - 4 credits
Social Studies - 4 credits 
Foreign Language - 3 credits
Lab Science - 3 credits

Personal Fitness or Theater or Music (freshman year) - 1 credit

Engineering or Music or Theater Arts or Computer Science/Studio Art I (sophomore year) - 1 credit

Health - 0.5 credit

Electives (senior year) - 2 credits
Community Service - 0.5 credit

Total Credits - 27
