Winter Music Concert

Jesuit High School hosted its annual Winter Music Concert on Saturday (Dec. 3) in the Multi-Purpose Room in front of a sold-out audience.
The concert featured wonderful performances from Jesuit’s Chamber Orchestra, Pop Symphony Advanced Band, Intermediate Band, Choir, Guitar Ensemble, and Drum Line, altogether comprising of more than 70 students. The performance was conducted beautifully by instructors Nina Wegmann, Alfonzo Kimbrough, and Adrian Quesada.
With the holiday spirit in the air, the student musicians performed an array of Christmas classics, including "White Christmas" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." They also played compositions by Bach, as well as "The Girl from Ipanema" and "Look to the Sky" by A.C. Jobim, and the rock classic "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits, among many others.
Please view a photo slideshow below of the concert. Below that is a listing of the musicians who participated, and below that is the listing of pieces performed at the concert.
