Time to Give

Time to Give

Jesuit High School students have been serving those less fortunate during the Christmas break. In the days after final exams ended on Dec. 16, Jesuit students have spread good will throughout the area and state, fulfilling a commitment to becoming "Men for Others."

Among the numerous instances were: the Jesuit basketball team providing Christmas gifts for a migrant family on Dec. 17; members of Agmen Christi traveling to rural Belle Glade along Lake Okeechobee to assist that community in its Christmas preparations on Dec. 16-18; and about a dozen other members of Agmen Christi making their annual trek to eastern Hillsborough County to distribute Christmas gifts to a migrant community on Dec. 18.

On Tuesday (Dec. 20), 39 members of Agmen Christi worked at Metropolitan Ministries' Holiday Tent, serving those in need. Also, the Jesuit High School of Tampa facebook page has photo posts about the trip to Belle Glade and the basketball team gift giving.
