"The Sting"

The Jesuit Masque's fall production of "The Sting" was a smash hit, with the four shows over three days entertaining packed audiences and earning rave reviews.

Theatre director Richard Miller took a fresh approach to the classic 1973 screen triumph starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford, with Masque veterans Diego Garcia '25 as Johnny Hooker (Redford), Austin Blewitt '26 as Henry Gondorff (Newman) and David Miranda '25 as Doyle Lonnegan, plus an award-winning cast and crew (see below).

The Shembekar Auditorium inside the Antinori Center for the Arts was packed for the four showings of "The Sting" from Nov. 21-23, as the excitement, maneuvers, and comedy of the famed movie were brilliantly adapted for the stage production, and brought to life with dynamic performances.
