The Spring Semester

Jesuit High School welcomed back its students, teachers, and staff today (Tue. Jan. 3) following the Christmas holiday break for the first day of the second semester!
Among the key dates and upcoming events at Jesuit are:
- Jan. 6: All-School Mass
- Jan. 16: The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday
- Jan. 18-21: The March for Life trip to Washington, D.C.
- Jan. 26-28: Kairos Retreat at the Bethany Center
- Feb. 5: The Mother-Son Mass & Breakfast at the Hilton Tampa Downtown on Feb. 5 (click here to register)

- Feb. 20-21: The Faculty-Staff Retreat (no school for students on these two days)
- Feb. 25: Gaudiosa: An Evening in Barcelona at the Hilton Tampa Downtown on Feb. 25 (click here to register)
Jesuit's winter sports teams are back in action this week. Basketball, which has a record of 12-1 and is coming off a strong performance in the Cookie Garcia Jesuit Invitational, plays in the Dunedin New Year's Invitational over the next three days, Tuesday-Thursday. Next Friday, Jan. 13, the Tigers host Tampa Catholic in the annual rivalry game.
Jesuit wrestling has two events this week. The Tigers, the 2022 IBT State Champions and 2020 Duals State Champions, host the District Duals on Wednesday (Jan. 4) at 6:00pm in the Tiger Palace. This weekend Jesuit wrestling heads across the state to Jensen Beach for the Cradle Cancer Invitational.
Jesuit soccer, undefeated at 11-0 and ranked No. 1 (United Soccer Coaches) or No. 2 (MaxPreps) in the nation, hosts its major annual tournament, the 6th annual Tampa Bay Invitational, on Thursday-Saturday (Jan. 5-7). The TBI has been one of Florida's premier soccer events, and Jesuit has captured the title twice (2018, 2019) and been runner-up twice (2020, 2022) in the first five years. The Tigers play an opening round match vs. Bloomingdale on Thursday at 7:00pm at Ed Radice Park. The TBI championship game is Saturday at 7:00pm.
