The Father-Son Retreat

The Father-Son Retreat

At the heart of Jesuit’s Campus Ministry is the retreat program, within which students take an honest look at their lives, better understand their relationship with God, and find motivation for further growth in their interior life.

Every Jesuit student attends a retreat each school year, and seniors have two retreat options, a silent retreat or a father-son retreat.

On Nov. 16-17 at the Bethany Center in Lutz, a group of Jesuit seniors and their dads experienced the transformative father-son retreat. This unique, two-day, overnight retreat provides an opportunity to grow closer to each other and to God while cultivating growth through openness and honesty.

This was the second of four father-son retreats this school year, with the final two coming on March 25-26 and April 7-8. The multiple date options allows for as many fathers and sons as possible to find a retreat that works for them.
