Jesuit swimming began the State playoffs with a resounding victory Saturday (October 22) in the District Meet at the Academy of the Holy Names. With strong results throughout the squad, the Tigers outpaced runner-up Hillsborough 677 to 232 for the program's 26th straight District crown.

Aidan Clements '24 won two individual events and swam one winning relay for the Tigers; Brayden Hohman '23 swam on two winning relays and won the 100 freestyle; Jordan Jansen '23, Sasha Fiola '23, and Liam Schindler '23 all won an individual event and a relay; and Liam Maloney '24 and Logan Lange '23 also won individual events.

Next, the Tigers will vie for their 14th consecutive Region title on Saturday (October 29) at The Long Center in Clearwater. The dynastic run of success for Jesuit swimming, including all 26 straight District titles, has come under the direction of head coach Bill Shaffer. After the Region Meet, the Tigers will head to State on November 4 seeking their 4th State Championship and 9th straight Top 3 finish.
