Summer Break - School's Out!

The underclassmen finished their final exams Tuesday (May 24) at 11:30am as Jesuit High School completed the academic portion of its 123rd year.

Three events will conclude the school year: Baccalaureate Mass on Thursday (May 26) at 8:00pm in the Chapel of the Holy Cross; Graduation the following day (Friday May 27) at 8:00pm at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa; and the annual Freshman Pilgrimage to St. Augustine on May 29-30.

Many Jesuit students will be involved in service immersion mission trips this summer. Among the special trips planned are: 

• June 1-10 - Wyoming Leadership Retreat
• June 1-8 - Jasper, Ga. Mission Trip
• June 4-11 - South Dakota Mission Trip
• July 5-14 - Colombia Mission Trip
• July 16-Aug. 1 - European Pilgrimage

The school campus will have lots of activity in June and July, with the Jesuit Summer Bridge program for middle school students, sports summer camps, summer courses for sophomores in art and computer science, summer enrichment for incoming freshmen, and more.
