Gabe Turner '15 is a "Hometown Hero" for helping others

The Tampa Tribune recently featured Jesuit High School student Gabe Turner ’15 as a “Hometown Hero” with a prominent story on the front page of its Metro section.

Turner was cited for his numerous acts of service to those in need, including multiple service immersion mission trips, assisting a Wounded Warriors project in Key West, as part of Jesuit’s award-winning Key Club, and many more.

Friday (Dec. 12) in Convocation, Turner was honored for his service by Director of Community Service Michael Miller ’09. Miller noted the variety of people in need Turner has assisted, as well as Turner’s total of nearly 700 community service hours since enrolling at Jesuit.
