Sacraments of Initiation

Jesuit High School president Fr. Richard C. Hermes, S.J. celebrated a special Mass in St. Anthony’s Chapel on Tuesday (May 10), during which Bradley Haines '18 was baptized, and Nicholas Haskell '19 and Kyler Waldron '17 were received into full communion with the Catholic Church.

Jesuit was given special permission to celebrate these sacraments from the Diocese of St. Petersburg, and from the pastor of the parish in which Jesuit is located, Fr. Michael Muir of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Since 2013, 21 students have received sacraments at Jesuit, including 11 who will be students at the school in 2016-17: Haines, Haskell, and Waldron, along with Bricson Linares '17, Anthony Lopez '17, Hector Rizo '17, Cullen Finley '17, Matt Daner '17, Ethan Clark '18, Devin Flores '18, and Connor Price '18.
