Perspectives Magazine: Winter 2021-22

The Winter 2021-22 electronic edition of Jesuit's Perspectives Magazine has arrived! Click here to view the full 44 pages, filled with 123 photos of Jesuit High School news and events from the fall and winter of the 2021-22 school year.
The main feature is about Jesuit football's "Dream Season" – the Tigers went 15-0 this fall, captured the Class 6A State Championship, and finished the season ranked in the Top 10 in the national rankings. Along the way, Jesuit sent shockwaves across the prep football landscape with a stunning upset of superpower Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas in a game scheduled on two-days notice; smashed nemesis Miami Northwestern in the State Semifinal, 37-12; and made an improbable 4th quarter comeback to win the title game over Pensacola Pine Forest, 35-29, by scoring the game's final three touchdowns, the winnings core coming with 37 seconds to go.
The Life on Himes section begins with the record-setting Thanksgiving Basket Drive and includes stories about the Winter Music Concert, Homecoming 2021, service during the holiday season, the Masque's fall performance of "Fahrenheit 451," and the March for Life in D.C. The Alumni News section includes 30 Alumni in Action updates, while the Development News section highlights The Bailey Family Foundation's $1 million gift toward the Antinori Center for the Arts plus a Bequest Society feature about Doug LeJeune '87.
