Perspectives Magazine - Fall 2018

Perspectives Magazine - Fall 2018

The Fall 2018 edition of Perspectives magazine has arrived, 44 pages chock full of all the recent news and information at Jesuit High School, from Graduation 2018 through the first Mass in the Chapel of the Holy Cross this fall.

The issue includes a Bequest Society feature on Karl Mattison '88, the 50th anniversary of the 1968 football championship, the close of the $50 million 'For Greater Glory' campaign, and a My Perspective piece by Fr. Paul Deutsch, S.J.

The 'Life on Himes' section features all of Jesuit's summer mission trips, including first-person accounts of the experiences in Appalachia (Jasper, Ga.) by Phillip Thompson '19 and in South Dakota by Trent Gephart '19, and the amazing success of Jesuit's Advanced Placement program in 2018.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is highlighted in the main feature, including the Rite of Dedication with Bishop Michael C. Barber, S.J. in August, and the first all-school Mass in September. And as always, Perspectives has dozens of alumni updates, sports recaps, and a letter from school president Fr. Richard C. Hermes, S.J.
