Perspectives: Advancing the Arts

The Winter 2018-19 edition of Jesuit High School's magazine, Perspectives, has arrived. Click here to read the electronic edition, and hard copies have been mailed to Jesuit families, alumni, and supporters.

The main feature takes an in-depth look at Jesuit's burgeoning arts programs: Fine arts under the direction of Kevin Ball '03, music under the direction of Nina Wegmann and Dominick DiCarlo, and theatre under the direction of Richard Miller. 

The 40-page issue has 125 photos and is filled with information from the past several months. The Life on Himes section has news about Jesuit clubs, service, and academics, plus Homecoming, the Thanksgiving Basket Drive, and more.

The Alumni News section has updates on more than 40 alumni, and Development News highlights 1899 Bequest Society member Dr. Steve Krist '69, plus the Oliva Courtyard and Garcia Bridge blessing and dedication ceremonies. The Sports section recaps the fall athletic seasons, including the repeat swimming State Championship. The My Perspective piece is written by professional artist Emiliano Settecasi '13.
