Four Jesuit offensive linemen sign to play college football on Feb. 4

It was a big morning Wednesday (Feb. 4) not only for the four Jesuit High School offensive linemen who signed to play college football at a special early morning ceremony on National Signing Day, but for Jesuit alumnus Brian McNulty ’95.

McNulty, a former offensive lineman at Jesuit and college football player himself, might have been as proud as anyone in the audience of family, friends, classmates, and media in the President’s Board Room at 7:25am: He has been the position coach for all four signees.

Guard/center Clark Bulleit ’15, a first-team all-county selection by the Tampa Tribune, signed with Duke. Nick Cox ’15 signed with Penn State as a long snapper. Offensive tackle Jackson Dennis ’15 signed with Holy Cross, and guard Guy Revelle ’15 signed with Presbyterian.

After Fr. Richard C. Hermes, S.J., and athletic director Terry Rupp ’84 addressed the gathering and congratulated Bulleit, Cox, Dennis, and Revelle on their accomplishments, McNulty gave them the go-ahead to put pen to paper and make it official.

It was the second of three signing ceremonies Jesuit will host this year. The final one is April 15.
