National Honor Society 2020

National Honor Society 2020

Jesuit High School president Fr. Richard C. Hermes, S.J. and principal Barry Neuburger welcomed 107 members of the Class of 2020 into the National Honor Society at the NHS Induction Mass on Thursday (Feb. 28) in the Chapel of the Holy Cross.

The 107 inductees are a record total from one class at Jesuit to be inducted into NHS, surpassing last year's previous high of 92.

The Jesuit chapter of NHS, led by faculty moderator Kathy Preble, recognizes students who have put forth great effort in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

In scholarship, students must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.7. In service, they must meet a minimum requirement for service hours. Character and leadership are determined by faculty feedback measuring students' growth during their time at Jesuit, with emphasis on leadership in the classroom, in clubs, and in athletics.

The full list of inductees is below, or click here for a PDF listing of inductees.
