Mothers and Sons

Jesuit High School’s annual Mother-Son Mass and Breakfast brought together about 700 Jesuit students and their moms for a beautiful morning Sunday (Feb. 7) at the Hilton Tampa Downtown.

Fr. Paul Deutsch, S.J. celebrated Mass while more than 40 Jesuit musicians, under the direction of Nina Wegmann and Dominick DiCarlo, provided the backdrop, as hundreds of mothers and sons shared the delicious breakfast and spiritual time.

The emotional highlights were provided by Calvin Scott ’16 and Sebastian Rivers ’16, who gave heartfelt tributes to their mothers, Anne-Marie Scott and Shannon Rivers, respectively.
