The Jesuit Masque and the school's theatre director, Richard Miller, have announced the recipients of the Masque Awards for the 2019-20 school year. Scroll below to view all of the recipients, or click here.
Riley Buchanan '20 earned the St. Genesius Award for Excellence in Theatre Arts, and Xander Arena '20 earned numerous Masque awards, including Outstanding Performance and Most Dedicated Thespian.
The Class of 2020 was one of the most accomplished in Jesuit theatre annals. In District thespian competition over their four years, Jesuit's seniors earned 19 Superior and 30 Excellent awards, 4 individual Top Honors, and 1 All-Star Cast. Though the Spring Performance of "Romeo & Juliet" was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Masque is not done for this school year. Coming sometime in June is a virtual dramatic reading of "Romeo & Juliet."
