Key Club Serves Foster Families

Key Club Serves Foster Families

On Thanksgiving Day, Jesuit's Key Club served meals to nearly 1,000 foster children and their families who were welcomed as guests of honor at Donatello Italian Restaurant in south Tampa.

As part of the experience, the foster children took photos with costumed superheroes and some of their favorite movie characters, met Santa, and received gifts courtesy of Donatello's owner, Gino Tiozzo, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fifteen Key Club members, along with some of their family members and club moderator Amy Martin, served at the event, taking care of each of the foster families. The Jesuit students waited, bused, and reset tables, refilled drinks, and prepared trays of desserts.
