Key Club Honors


Jesuit High School’s Key Club was showered with honors at the annual Florida District Conference in Orlando on Saturday (April 30).

More than 400 Florida schools have Key Clubs, and 221 Key Clubs and nearly 2,000 students statewide attended the conference to share their service experiences. Annually among the most highly regarded Key Clubs in the state and internationally, this year Jesuit claimed 13 awards at the state level, including three by Drew Valenti '17:

  • Distinguished Club President – Josh Heiman ’16
  • Distinguished Club Treasurer – Andrew Mullan ’16
  • J. Walker Field Scholarship Winner – Charlie Schmitt ’16
  • Florida Endowment Scholarship Winner – Gantt Meredith ’16
  • Leader of Leaders Award – Drew Valenti ’17
  • Distinguished Lt. Governor Award – Drew Valenti ’17
  • Most Outstanding Committee Chair – Drew Valenti ’17
  • New Lt. Governor for Florida District 14B – Joe McGonnigal ’18
  • Pride Report Submission Award – Gantt Meredith ’16
  • Governor’s Project Award – Jesuit Key Club
  • Governor’s Citation Award for Key Goes Green – Jesuit Key Club
  • 2nd place, Club Year of Service in Review Scrapbook, submitted for International Competition – Jesuit Key Club
  • 2nd place, Club Single Service Project Display – Jesuit Key Club
