"Hadestown"!

The Jesuit Masque's Spring Performance of "Hadestown" was an electrifying triumph!

The four shows over three nights from April 16-18 inside the Shembekar Auditorium had the sold out audiences mesmerized. From the spectacular set – a colorful, towering, and gritty New Orleans aesthetic – to the lighting to the music to the brilliant performers, longtime Jesuit theatre director Richard Miller and the students put on one of the most entertaining shows in the Masque's historic catalog. 

Starring Peter McCauley '27, Jullian Martinez '27, and Collin Jennings '29, Jesuit's version of "Hadestown" captured the spirit and excellence of Anais Mitchell's Broadway smash.

"Hadestown" culminates a sensational year for the Masque, which included the hilarious Fall performance of "Puffs," stellar results in competition, and the Senior One-Act Play, "This is a Test" written by Robert Davis '26.
