More than 300 Jesuit High School alumni in classes ending in '1' and '6' came home to Himes Ave. last weekend (June 3-5) for a wonderful Grand Reunion celebration.
The annual event started Friday with an elegant reception on campus that brought together all of the classes – from 1956 through 2011 – for an enjoyable evening of revelry and nostalgia. It was the largest Friday reception Jesuit has hosted during a Grand Reunion weekend, and the special bond between Jesuit alumni and their alma mater made this a memorable evening for all.
On Saturday, the classes gathered individually away from campus. Sunday brought everyone back to Jesuit for Mass in St. Anthony’s Chapel with alumni and their families, followed by brunch. During Mass, the Class of 1991 was presented with silver medallions and the Class of 1966 was awarded golden diplomas.
SAVE THE DATE: Grand Reunion 2017 will celebrate classes ending in '2' and '7' with the Class of 1992 (25 years) and Class of 1967 (50 years) receiving special recognition. It will take place June 2-4, 2017. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to register.
