Graduation 2023

Jesuit High School graduated its Class of 2023 on Wednesday (May 24), as the school celebrated commencement exercises at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa.

The graduating class of the school's 124th year is comprised of 191 students. Of the graduates, 165 (86%) have received academic or athletic scholarships, and 124 (65%) received Florida Bright Futures Scholarships, with a total scholarship value of more than $21 million. One-hundred percent were accepted into college, with 165 colleges and universities, as well as three Service Academies, accepting Jesuit students in 2023, including renowned institutions such as Boston College, Brown University, UCLA, the University of Chicago, Georgetown University, Georgia Tech, North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Notre Dame, the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), the U.S Naval Academy (Annapolis), the University of Pennsylvania, Rice University, the University of Virginia, Washington University, and Yale University.

The class Valedictorian is Cameron Bailey (4.66 GPA), and the Salutatorian is Christopher Tan (4.64 GPA). Bailey will attend the University of Florida's Honors College, while Tan will attend the University of South Florida in its Biomedical Sciences program. For video of the presentations by Bailey and Tan, as well as the President’s Address by school president Fr. Richard C. Hermes, S.J., please click here or visit the YouTube channel for Jesuit High School, @JesuitTampa.

In keeping with one of Jesuit's earliest traditions, graduates wore the classic tuxedo at Graduation. The traditional cap and gown were worn Tuesday night (May 23) at Baccalaureate Mass.
