Gift of Giving
Jesuit's Agmen Christi uplifts the community

Following Mass in Sacred Heart Chapel on Sunday morning (Dec. 14), members of Agmen Christi packed up a big van with wrapped gifts for 50 underprivileged migrant children from the Dover area near Plant City.

The student group made several stops at the homes of migrant families. Jesuit’s own Santa Claus – Sebastian Rivers ’16 wearing a Jesuit blue Santa suit – distributed the gifts to the children and spread some Christmas cheer.

Agmen Christi is a Catholic service club at Jesuit High School that frequently makes trips to Belle Glade to serve an underprivileged community there. The club provided Sunday’s presents with assists from Julie Snyder, P ’16, a migrant advocate who collected specific gift requests from the children, and Jesuit's Director of Community Service Michael Miller '09.

This weekend, a migrant family will come to Jesuit to meet with the basketball team and receive Christmas gifts.
