Christmas Break

Christmas Break

Jesuit High School completed the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year with three days of Final Exams on Dec. 15, Dec. 17, and Dec. 18.

The school is closed until the second semester begins on Monday, January 5, with the exception of the following days when the business office will be open from 9:00am to 2:00pm: Dec. 22, 23, 29, and 30.

Also, all are welcome to the celebration of Midnight Mass in the Chapel of the Holy Cross.

Jesuit’s winter sports teams teams all will be in action during the holiday break. The basketball team hosts the Cookie Garcia Jesuit Invitational on Dec. 29, 30, and 31. The Tigers (12-1) play the last of four games in the Tiger Palace on opening night (Mon. Dec. 29) at 7:45pm vs. St. John’s Jesuit from Ohio, and also will play Dec. 30-31, time TBD.

Soccer, coming off a runner-up finish in the Tampa Bay Champions League, will play in the Tampa Bay Invitational at J.C. Handly Sports Complex in Brandon on Jan. 2-3, with two matches on Jan. 3.

Wrestling, which won its first two tournaments of the year and had several strong results at the elite Knockout Christmas Classic in Kissimmee on Dec. 19-20, will travel to Lancaster, Pa. right after Christmas for the Turner Holiday Classic. Tiger wrestling will open the new year by hosting the District Duals in the Tiger Palace on Jan. 7.

Hockey (11-2-1) is off to a strong start and resumes action in the Lightning High School Hockey League on January 9.

There is still time to make your tax-deductible contribution to Jesuit for the 2025 tax year. Please visit www.jesuittampa.org/Donate or Venmo @JesuitTampa to make your gift today. Our most sincere thanks to those who have already contributed to benefit all of our students!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
