Christmas Break!

Christmas Break!

Jesuit High School completed the Fall 2022 semester with three days of exams Dec. 13-15 before beginning a two-week break for the Christmas holiday.

School offices close on Friday (Dec. 16) at Noon. During the break, the business office will have limited hours from 9:00am-2:00pm on four days: Mon. Dec. 19 and Tue. Dec. 20, and Tue. Dec. 27 and Tue. Dec. 28.

School resumes on Tuesday, January 3.

Jesuit's winter sports teams have lots of exciting action during the break. Most notably, Jesuit basketball is hosting the inaugural Cookie Garcia Jesuit Invitational on Dec. 27-29 featuring eight Jesuit schools from around the country. The tournament tips off with a special 10-year anniversary celebration of what is considered by many to be the greatest basketball team in Tampa Bay area history: Jesuit's 2012-13 State Championship team that went 31-1. The celebration will take place in the Tiger Palace at 7:30pm prior to Jesuit's opening game of the tournament vs. Regis Jesuit (N.Y.). View a bracket for the Cookie Garcia Jesuit Invitational at the bottom of this page.

Jesuit soccer is undefeated at 8-0 (Jesuit basketball also is undefeated, 7-0) and hosts a Champions League semifinal on Saturday morning (Dec. 17) at 9:00am at Corral Memorial Stadium. The Tigers face St. Petersburg, with the winner advancing to the Champions League final on Saturday night at 8:00 at Saint Leo University, vs. either Plant or Sunlake.

There are several other athletic events during the break involving Jesuit's winter sports teams: basketball, hockey, soccer, and wrestling. Please check the Athletic Calendar on the website for the most updated schedules.

Enjoy the break and we will see you in January!
