Career Day

Career Day

Juniors and seniors engaged in expert presentations from distinguished alumni and other accomplished professionals during Jesuit High School's annual Career Day on Wednesday (Nov. 20).

A total of 25 presenters, including 17 alumni spanning a vast range of vocations, enriched the students throughout the morning in small-group sessions on campus. Every junior and senior participated in four 35-minute presentations.

The sessions included careers such as Accounting (Matt Josey '06), Government Affairs (Bob Buckhorn), NASA Engineering (Dale Southwick '64), Marketing (Eric Blankenship '92), Entrepreneurship (Russ Matthews '91), and the Arts (Dr. Jose Rodeiro '67), as well as various medical fields and much more.

Also, alumnus Dallas Whitaker '80 spoke at morning Convocation on Wednesday about the influence his Jesuit High School education has made on his life, before he engaged students in small-group sessions about real estate.

Thank you to all who participated in Career Day, for giving their time and sharing their knowledge and expertise.
