Career Day

Juniors and seniors engaged in expert presentations from distinguished alumni and other accomplished professionals during Jesuit High School's annual Career Day on Feb. 28.

A total of 30 presenters, including 19 alumni and 6 parents of alumni spanning a vast range of vocations, enriched the students throughout the morning in small-group sessions on campus. Every junior and senior participated in four 35-minute presentations.

The sessions included careers such as Accounting (Tim Lazzara '06), Judicial/Law (Hon. Greg Holder, P '04, Rick Hurley '77, Andrew Diaz '82), Engineering (Mike Sammons '87), Broadcasting (Stacie Schaible, P '19, Drew Fellios), the military (Karen and Chris Quilty, P '16) and the Arts (Dr. Jose Rodeiro '67), as well as various medical fields (veterinary, dentistry, orthopedic, surgical, chiropractic), and much more.

Also, alumnus Myron Williams '77 spoke at morning Convocation on Wednesday about his 35-year executive sales career at UPS and the profound influence his Jesuit High School education has made on his life, before he engaged students in four small-group sessions about corporate business.
