Jesuit High School's juniors and seniors engaged in expert presentations from distinguished alumni and other accomplished professionals during the annual Career Day on Wednesday (Jan. 31).
A total of 34 presenters, including 33 alumni, spanning a vast range of vocations and graduation years, enriched the students throughout the morning in small-group sessions on campus. Every junior and senior participated in four 35-minute presentations.
The sessions included careers such as Engineering (Austin Jurado ’11), Property Rights Law (Andrew Diaz ’82, Gregory Rix ’87), Cardiology (Dr. Charlie Glover ’98), Real Estate (Robert Genders ’88, Dennis Noto ’64), International Insurance Fraud (Frank Llende ’82), Music and Entertainment Law (Randy Ojeda ’08), Medical Device Sales (Matthew Walker ’97), Law/Judicial (Hon. Thomas Palermo ’94), Orthopedic Surgery (Dr. Chris James ’99, Dr. Michael Higgins, P ’23, '26), and Sports Agent (Eric Blankenship ’92).
