Big Catch

Big Catch

Jesuit High School’s second annual Dads’ Club fishing tournament was another big success on April 22, as 31 boats and more than 100 anglers enjoyed chasing snook, trout, and redfish on a gorgeous day on Tampa Bay.

The camaraderie began the Friday night before the Saturday event, with the Captains Meeting in the Jesuit cafeteria. Gifts and a delicious dinner were provided by sponsors Marine Max, Catering by the Family, Wilson & Girgenti, LLC., Capt. Rick Silkworth, Chris-Craft Boats, Minnows and Monsters bait and tackle, CAO Cigars, and New Age Reprographics.

Anglers fished the bay throughout Saturday morning and then returned to Hula Bay Club in the afternoon to share the stories of the day, enjoy the buffet, gifts, and raffle prizes courtesy of the sponsors, and attend the awards presentation.
