Baseball: District Champions

Jesuit High School baseball defeated Jefferson 3-2 on Friday (May 10) at Jefferson to claim its 8th consecutive District Championship, including 5-for-5 under head coach Miguel Menendez.

The District Final began on Thursday, but due to a torrential downpour and thunderstorms during the bottom of the 4th inning, the remainder of the game was postponed until Friday with Jesuit leading 3-0.

Starting pitcher Camden Minacci '20 earned the win, surrendering no hits or runs over 4 innings and striking out 4. Tripp Russo '20 earned the save, and Bradke Lohry '21, B.J. Graham '21, and Henry Politz '20 each had an RBI.

The Tigers (22-5) advance to host the Region Quarterfinal on Wednesday at 7:30pm vs. Wesley Chapel.
