Ash Wednesday Mass

Fr. Jay Hooks, S.J. celebrated Ash Wednesday Mass on Wednesday (February 26) in the Chapel of the Holy Cross at Jesuit High School, marking the beginning of Lent.

The distribution of ashes – 46 days before the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday – reminds us of our own mortality and calls us to repentance.
