An Evening in Barcelona

An Evening in Barcelona

Jesuit High School’s award-winning fundraising gala, Gaudiosa, is just a month away, on Saturday, March 4 at the Hilton Tampa Downtown.

This year, Gaudiosa travels to Spain for An Evening in Barcelona. Jesuit’s award-winning Special Events Coordinator, Jane Younger, and her dedicated staff of volunteers are working diligently to make the 14th annual Gaudiosa another spectacular, beautiful, fun-filled event – all benefiting Jesuit’s financial aid! The past three years, Gaudiosa has raised more than $2 million for the financial aid program, helping to ensure no qualified boy who wishes to receive a Jesuit education is denied the opportunity for financial reasons.

Three times in the past four years, the Tampa Bay Business Journal has named Younger the Tampa Bay area’s ‘Favorite Event Planner’ and also has named Gaudiosa as Tampa Bay’s ‘Favorite Fundraising Event.’

For more information or to get involved – as a patron, sponsor, guest, auction donor, etc. – please visit the Gaudiosa page on the Jesuit website (www.jesuittampa.org/Gaudiosa). Also, the Jesuit Gaudiosa page on Facebook will be providing sneak peeks at auction items.

Gaudiosa is a Latin term for "a joyous feast." The locational theme for each Gaudiosa is based on the travels of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus - the Jesuits - in the 16th century.

Contact Jane Younger at jyounger@jesuittampa.org or call (813) 877-5344, ext. 706 with any questions.
