500 Wins

Neal Goldman becomes the 7th boys coach in county history to reach the milestone
Jesuit basketball coach Neal Goldman achieved a milestone Tuesday (Jan. 6), winning his 500th game as the Tigers' head coach.
Goldman is believed to be just the seventh boys basketball coach in Hillsborough County to reach the mark. He has spent his entire coaching career at Jesuit, the past 28 as head coach, compiling a record of 500-260, which includes a 31-1 mark in 2012-13 when the Tigers captured the Class 5A state championship.
Tuesday at District rival Robinson, Jesuit (12-5) earned a hard-fought 48-43 victory. Two free throws by Daniel Darst ’15 with 13 seconds remaining gave Jesuit a 4-point lead and clinched the win. Christian Whidden '15 led the Tigers with 21 points.
