Quintin Hoggard ’18 was recently honored with 1st Prize at the Tampa Museum of Art's Youth Council Art Exhibition.

Hoggard is one of seven artists from Jesuit High School, under the direction of Fine Arts department head Kevin Ball ’03, who are among 50 local students whose work is being showcased this month at TMA. The showcase is part of TMA's 1st annual Youth Council Art Exhibitions.

At the show opening on Friday (Oct. 28), Hoggard was announced as the 1st Prize winner. His charcoal drawing "Finding Light" was chosen best in show from among all of the entries selected for the exhibition. "Finding Light" will be featured throughout November in the main lobby of the museum, which is located downtown on the river at 120 W. Gasparilla Plaza.

The other Jesuit students selected for the Youth Council Art Exhibitions are: Nicholas Verdugo '18, Brett Sandborn '18, Justin Sanchez '17, Trevor Perez '18, Diego Perez-Aracena '18, and Ethan Clark '18. The show will remain up through November.
