Principal
Mike Scicchitano '01
NOTE: For the 2024-25 school year, as Jesuit High School is conducting a search to identify and select its next President, Mike Scicchitano will serve as Acting President in addition to his position as Principal.
Since 1899, Jesuit has provided young men with a strong, Catholic formation in a rigorous and competitive academic environment. Our school community takes great pride in living out our mission statement on a daily basis while maintaining our traditions and high standards. It is a great honor to work alongside Jesuit’s dedicated faculty and staff, who labor to help students identify and develop their unique talents while placing them in the service of God for the good of others.
In recent years, Jesuit’s academic curriculum has grown and developed to effectively meet the demands of the modern world while staying true to the principles and values of Ignatian education, which dates to the first Jesuit schools founded in 1548. Our athletic and extracurricular programs, along with Campus Ministry and community service, effectively provide students with a well-rounded, total formation.
I am excited and humbled to serve the Jesuit community and help continue the great work of the school’s mission to form men engaged in the world who are dedicated to serving God by being open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, loving, and just.
Mike Scicchitano was named principal of Jesuit High School in 2021. He is the sixth lay principal in the school’s 115-year history. Mr. Scicchitano is a graduate of the Class of 2001.
