Why the Development Office
Development Office Functions
Where Contributions Go

How does the Development Office function?

To help accomplish Jesuit’s fundraising goals, the Development Office coordinates all fundraising programs and drives, such as the recent $8 million Honoring Our Traditions Capital Campaign and the “Show Your Stripes” Annual Giving Drive.

Targeted personal appeals to donors are conducted by Jesuit’s development team. Through special fundraising events, including Jesuit’s Gaudiosa gala auction and the Fr. Richard Hartnett S.J. Memorial Golf Classic, the Development Office works with scores of volunteers to reach larger segments of the community to help Jesuit attain its fundraising goals.

Jesuit’s Development Office is responsible for communicating Jesuit’s vision to the alumni, parents, benefactors and local community. This is accomplished through the school’s alumni magazine, Perspectives, the website, all fundraising communications for the President’s Office, and the media. In addition, the office assists with alumni and community relations activities throughout the year, as well as several “friend-raising” events.

The Development Office also functions as liaison for the school’s service clubs, which includes the Dads’ Club, the Mothers’ Club, the Alumni Association and Tiger Lilies. Jesuit’s Development Office oversees and assists these groups with volunteer efforts throughout the school year.
