Jesuit Sailing

Our Sailing Club was established to promote the sport of sailing, and is open to all Jesuit students. The sailing team competes in local regattas as part of SAISA, the South Atlantic District of the Inter-Scholastic Sailing Association (ISSA). The team sails double-handed boats in the 420 class and the single-handed Laser class.  Area high schools that are also part of this district include St. Petersburg Catholic, Plant, St. Petersburg High, St. Thomas Aquinas and Lakewood.

In its 2007-2008 inaugural season, the Jesuit sailing team qualified and traveled to compete in the Great Oaks Championship in New Orleans, and the team returned again in 2008.
