SADD
SADD stands for Students against Destructive Decisions. The three main goals of the organization:
- to end underage drinking, drug use and other destructive decisions facing teens today.
- never let other people drive while impaired.
- help others to become aware of the potential dangers in destructive decision making.
Each year SADD hosts a major event, MADD DASH for SADD. The MADD DASH is a 5k run that helps support the local MADD chapter and Florida SADD chapter, as well as other local charities.

JESUIT'S SADD CLUB PRESENTS CHECK TO MADD
April 23, 2009. Jesuit's SADD club students presented a check of $750 to Ellen Snelling, representative of MADD in Hillsborough County and co-chair for the Tampa Alcohol Coalition. The students raised the donation through a barbecue they organized at Jesuit in February. In addition to staffing the barbecue, club members were responsible for selling meal tickets to other students, faculty and staff to support the fundraiser. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. David Burns P '10, Mr. Ray Cibischino, and Mr. Steve Slowey, P '11 who helped offset expenses with cash and food donations.
