Peer Ministry
This student service group is dedicated to assisting Jesuit with spiritual and community service-related activities.
Peer Ministry provides altar servers and other volunteers to assist with student Masses and student retreats, as well as special Masses and religious services for alumni and parent-oriented events.
Peer Ministry also helps Jesuit coordinate school-wide community service activities such as the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and the Christmas Giving Tree, which benefits local needy children and families.
Each year, Peer Ministry plays a lead role in assisting with the Student Mission Drive, which is held during the weeks of Lent and typically benefits Jesuit missions abroad. This year because of the great need in Haiti, proceeds raised by the Student Mission Drive will benefit Haitian earthquake victims. (See Peer Ministry News at left for a list of Mission Drive activities.)
