Key Club Projects

SIGN-UP: Please do not show up for a project if you are not signed up. Sign-up sheets for service activities are in the Counseling Center.

ONGOING WEEKLY PROJECTS:

- MONDAYS:
A Brighter Community Headstart Preschool
See Drew Rey for more details, and about a possible day event on Dec. 24th. 

- MONDAYS thru FRIDAYS:
Judeo Christian Health Clinic
Work with underserved patients and their files to assist health clinic from 3:30 - 5 p.m. (or longer on school holidays.) Volunteers must complete an application and bring it to their orientation.

Two club members are needed every day in the administrative offices filing lab reports so patients can get appropriate treatment. Spanish-speaking students are also needed. For a ride to the clinic or for more info, see project chair Devon Diaz '10.

- MONDAYS thru THURSDAYS:
Academy Prep Tutoring
Must be 16 or older to provide homework tutoring from 4:55 - 6:05 p.m., and also assist with some school events. Contact Ms. Joller at 813.248.5600, ext. 1102 to set up your service program.

-TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS:
St. Lawrence Afterschool Program
Assist with afterschool program for grades K-8 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. See project chair Anthony Belluccia '12 for more info.

- THURSDAYS:
Twin Lakes Library Ninjas
Sort books in the Twin Lakes Elementary School library, located at Waters Ave. and Twin Lakes Blvd. in N. Tampa. This project requires the skills of a ninja: quickness and quietness! See project chair Drew Reys '11 for more info.

- FRIDAYS:
Egypt Lake After School Tutors

Tennis for Fun, Brandon Aquatic Center
Volunteers needed after school, 405 Beverly Blvd., Brandon. See Mrs. Charette for more info.

- SATURDAYS:
Saturday Scholars
Until Nov. 14th.  See Mrs. Charette for more info.

*VA Hospital Volunteers Note:  VA Hospital volunteers must bring completed forms in before assisting there for the first time. We will schedule a date for students to go to the VA after school if they need a TB test.
